Little Krishna

Little Krishna animation is an initiative of ISKCON Bangalore and India Heritage Foundation in collaboration with Big Animation. This 13-episode animated series is the result of seven years of extensive research by the devotees of ISKCON Bangalore. An award-winning team has carefully crafted these episodes to educate children about India’s spiritual culture, heritage and values in a contemporary and entertaining format. This epic project celebrating Krishna’s childhood pastimes in Vrindavan is dedicated to His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the Founder-Acharya of ISKCON.

Five thousand years ago, Sri Krishna appeared on this planet to protect His devotees, annihilate the miscreants and re-establish the principles of religion. Vedic scriptures mention that when the Lord descends on Earth, He brings His own abode along with all His eternal associates.

The beautiful land of Vrindavan is the divine abode where Little Krishna enacted His pastimes with His friends. He spent His childhood with His foster parents Nanda Maharaj and Yashoda, His brother Balarama, His beloved gopis – Radharani, Lalita and Vishakha, His dearest friends Madhumangala, Sridham, Subala and others. Krishna was the darling of Vrindavan and the cynosure of everyone’s eyes. The residents of Vrindavan were always absorbed in the thoughts of Him.
However, there was someone else too thinking about Krishna, but with the plans of killing Him. This evil despot was King Kamsa, who knew that Little Krishna was his angel of death. Hence, he tried to kill Krishna with the help of demons like Putana, Dhenukasura, Aghasura, Keshi and others.

Although Krishna was a young boy, He killed all the mighty demons effortlessly. True to His word, Krishna always protected His devotees from all dangers. These pastimes are depicted in the Little Krishna animation series in an engrossing manner, enough to mesmerize the audience worldwide and leave them spell-bound. The series has become very popular among children and adults alike due to its content, characters and presentation.
