Honorable Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Defense Minister of Ukraine Mr. Andriy Vasylyovych Taran, accompanied by his Deputy Minister and other delegates of his government paid a courtesy visit to the ISKCON Bangalore temple on 1st February 2021 as a part of their participation in Aero India 2021 event.
They also visited the kitchen facility of The Akshaya Patra Foundation located in the temple premises and understood the operations that go into cooking 1.8 million meals every day. He was curious to learn about the growth of ISKCON and was amazed to learn about its global impact on social service and spirituality.
Summing up his experience of the temple visit Mr Taran remarked to Sri Vasudev Kesava Dasa, Vice President, ISKCON Bangalore, “This visit to your temple has been very exciting and very interesting, I have never been to a temple like this before”
