His Excellency Ung Sean, The Ambassador of Royal Kingdom of Cambodia visited the ISKCON Bangalore temple with his wife, Madam Samkol Soka and First Secretary to the Ambassador Mr Sengkea Sreang on Feb 27, 2022, and received the blessings of the Lord.
They had a pleasant interaction with His Grace Chanchalapati Dasa, Senior Vice-President, ISKCON Bangalore and Vice-Chairman, The Akshaya Patra Foundation. He also visited the first Akshaya Patra Kitchen at the Hare Krishna Hill and was briefed about the daily operations in cooking 50,000 meals. His Excellency was greatly appreciative of the efforts of Akshaya Patra in addressing the problem of hunger by providing food relief.
Mr Ung Sean also extended an invitation to the leaders of ISKCON Bangalore to visit the Kingdom of Cambodia, and the sacred temple of Angkor Wat, the world’s largest Vishnu temple.
His Grace Sridham Krishna Dasa, Head of Resource Mobilization, ISKCON Bangalore, and His Grace Naveena Neerada Dasa, Director-Strategic Communications, ISKCON Bangalore were also present on this occasion.
