About the Job
A Business Finance professional bridges accounting and corporate strategy, driving growth through forecasting, budgeting, and commercial analysis. They partner with department heads to optimize profitability, manage costs, and align financial practices with long-term company goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Spearhead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and variance analysis to track company performance against targets.
- Business Partnering: Collaborate directly with commercial, sales, and supply chain teams to provide financial insights for pricing, new initiatives, and operational decisions.
- Financial Modeling: Develop dynamic economic models to evaluate investment opportunities, measure ROI, and assess commercial viability.
- Performance Reporting: Prepare monthly management information systems (MIS) and executive dashboards to highlight Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and cost-saving opportunities.
- Compliance & Auditing: Ensure strict adherence to financial regulations (e.g., GAAP, IGAAP) and coordinate yearly audits.
Required Experience and Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics. Advanced credentials such as a CA, CPA, CMA, or CFA are strongly preferred.
- Experience: Typically 2-7+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), corporate finance, or public accounting.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, macros) and ERP/financial reporting software like SAP, Oracle, or Hyperion.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional commercial acumen, cross-functional communication, and the ability to translate complex numerical data into a clear strategic narrative
