About the Job
An IT Store Executive (often referred to as an IT Asset Executive or IT Hardware & Inventory Specialist) manages an organization's physical technology inventory. They bridge the gap between IT operations and procurement by tracking hardware, handling vendor coordination, and ensuring that employees have immediate access to functional tech tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Control: Monitor, log, and categorize incoming hardware and software components while maintaining accurate logs in systems like SAP (MM module), Tally ERP, or specialized asset management platforms.
- Inward & Outward Logistics: Check incoming equipment deliveries against Purchase Orders (PO), compile standard Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), and flag physical material or technical discrepancies to vendors.
- Asset Allocation: Issue IT peripherals
- Stock Optimization
Required Experience and Skills
- Education: A Graduate degree in Commerce (B.Com), Computer Applications (BCA), or a specialized Diploma in Materials Management / Supply Chain Operations.
- Technical Experience: 1 to 5 years of verified field experience operating within a tech-facing warehouse environment or managing an electronics retail warehouse ecosystem.
- Software Tool Proficiency: Direct hands-on capabilities utilizing ERP software, Microsoft Excel (specifically for constructing structural VLOOKUP/Pivot tables), and technical asset tags
