About the Job

A Security Manager with a CCTV focus oversees an organization’s entire physical and digital surveillance operations. They lead security personnel, manage access control, enforce privacy compliance, and ensure that all surveillance infrastructure operates smoothly to protect assets, employees, and property

Key Responsibilities

  • Surveillance Oversight: Directs the monitoring of live and recorded CCTV feeds to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
  • Team Leadership: Trains, schedules, and supervises security officers and CCTV operators, ensuring swift responses to incidents.
  • Technical Management: Coordinates with IT and vendors for the installation, maintenance, and upgrading of CCTV cameras, NVRs/DVRs, and alarms.
  • Compliance & Privacy: Ensures all video surveillance adheres to local privacy laws and organizational compliance standards.
  • Incident Investigation: Reviews video footage to investigate security breaches, accidents, or employee misconduct and assists local law enforcement when necessary.
  • Emergency Preparedness: Develops and implements emergency response plans, conducting safety drills and ensuring exit routes are monitored

Required Experience and Skills

  • Education: A bachelor’s degree in Security Administration, Criminal Justice, or a related field (or equivalent military/law enforcement experience).
  • Experience: 4 to 8+ years in corporate security management, loss prevention, or surveillance operations.
  • Technical Skills: Deep understanding of IP CCTV systems
