A Kitchen Distribution Supervisor manages the daily flow of food, inventory, and supply distribution, ensuring high-quality standards, safety, and operational efficiency

Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory & Distribution: Manage stock levels, order supplies, and oversee the distribution of ingredients to various kitchen stations.
  • Operational Control: Oversee daily kitchen operations, including cleaning, equipment maintenance, and ensuring food safety/sanitation standards (e.g., HACCP).
  • Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and schedule kitchen staff, including porters and junior cooks.

Required Experience and Skills

  • Experience: 3+ years in a kitchen environment, with demonstrated experience in staff supervision and inventory management.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a culinary degree is often preferred.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of food safety, health regulations, and sanitation procedures.
