Looking for an AC technician who installs, maintains, and repairs residential, commercial, or industrial air conditioning systems
Key Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities
- Installation: Installing new air conditioning units, including split and window systems, according to blueprints.
- Maintenance: Performing routine inspections, cleaning condenser/evaporator coils, greasing bearings, and replacing filters.
- Repairs: Troubleshooting and repairing faulty electrical components, wiring, compressors, motors, and thermostats.
- Refrigerant Management: Identifying, fixing leaks, and recharging systems with refrigerant.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensuring all work complies with safety regulations (e.g., OSHA) and handling hazardous materials appropriately.
Required Experience and Skills
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using HVAC hand/power tools (gauges, torches, drills) and interpreting blueprints.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of HVAC, refrigeration, and electrical systems.
