About the Job

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Reliability: Execute and oversee daily, weekly, and monthly Preventive & Predictive Maintenance programs for production machinery, including packaging and refrigeration systems.
  • Maintenance Supervision: Supervise, train, and develop maintenance technicians and supervisors, ensuring safe and efficient work practices.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP) and occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Breakdown Management: Act as the lead on emergency maintenance, conducting troubleshooting to minimize production downtime.
  • Inventory & Budget: Manage spare parts inventory to ensure availability for repairs, and assist in managing the department budget.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance logs, equipment history, and SOPs

Required Experience and Skills

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics) or equivalent technical experience.
  • Experience: Several years of maintenance experience in the food, beverage, or FMCG industry.
  • Technical Skills: Expertise in industrial electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automation (PLC/SCADA).
  • Soft Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and troubleshooting skills.

  • Reduction in machine downtime.
  • Adherence to Preventive Maintenance schedules.
  • Compliance with safety and sanitation standards
