Raghunandana Dasa

Raghunandana Dasa was one of the celebrated devotees in the Gaudiya Vaishnava tradition. He was born into a family of great devotees in the village of Srikhanda.

His father was Mukunda Dasa, the eldest son of Narayana Dasa and the elder brother of Narahari Sarkara. Mukunda Dasa was deeply loved by Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and was renowned for his pure devotion to Lord Krishna.

Raghunandana Dasa continued this glorious family tradition of devotional service. He lived in Srikhanda, where he became well known for his sincere worship of the Lord.

According to the Bhakti Ratnakara, Raghunandana Dasa personally served the Deity of Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu with great love and devotion. His service remains an inspiring example of heartfelt worship.

Raghunandana Dasa had a son named Kanai. Kanai later had two sons, Madana Raya and Vamsivadana. Over the years, this devotional family expanded, and hundreds of descendants continued to preserve their Vaishnava heritage in Srikhanda.

The lives of Mukunda Dasa, Narahari Sarkara, and Raghunandana Dasa demonstrate how devotion can be nurtured and passed down through generations. Their unwavering faith, loving service, and dedication to Lord Chaitanya continue to inspire devotees even today.
