Many of us have surely experienced reciprocation of the Lord in different ways at some time in our life. Krishna states in the Bhagavad-gita,

ananyāś cintayanto mā
ye janā paryupāsate
te
ā nityābhiyuktānā
yoga-kema vahāmy aham

But those who worship Me with devotion, meditating on My transcendental form – to them I carry what they lack and preserve what they have.

The Supreme Lord acts as our guide and saviour in difficult situations when we are fully dependent on Him with the faith that He will maintain us and save us under all situations.

This is a true story that occurred in the year 2000, at Hare Krishna hill, ISKCON Bangalore. It was on a Wednesday morning about 11:00 a.m. when Sri Madhu Pandit Dasa, President of the Temple, went on a temple inspection tour and was interacting with the temple visitors. He decided to sit down and spend some time to answer the philosophical queries of the visitors by sitting at the desk. Soon, there came a young man in a khaki uniform dress and introduced himself as an auto driver by profession. He was eager to share his story with a devotee, and so Sri Madhu Pandit Dasa sat him down to listen to his story.

The auto driver narrated, “I drive my auto rickshaw in and around Rajajinagar. Couple of years back, I had a major financial crisis in my life. I was driving an auto-rickshaw which I had rented, and I was neck-deep in debts and was finding it very difficult to even make ends meet. During such difficult days, I came across the news of inauguration of the new Krishna temple in Rajajinagar called ISKCON Sri Radha-Krishna Mandir. I decided to visit the temple and pray to Their Lordships Sri Sri Radha Krishnachandra to help me get through the crisis in my life. When I visited the temple, a devotee guided me to take up chanting of Hare Krishna mantra and to visit temple every week, and pray to Their Lordships. The devotee mentioned that if I pray earnestly, by the grace of Their Lordships, I would be able to handle all the setbacks and crisis in my life with ease. I took his words seriously and started chanting the Hare Krishna Mantra 108 times every day and began visiting the temple on every Wednesday without fail. Soon my fortune turned for better. Today, just in a couple of years, I have not only been able to clear all my debts but also have my own auto-rickshaw and have been able to procure two more auto-rickshaws which I have let out for rent. I strongly believe that this miraculous turnaround happened only due to the mercy of Their Lordships Sri Sri Radha Krishnachandra, and the power of chanting the holy name of Hare Krishna Mantra. Ever since then, I have made it a point to never miss my weekly visit to the temple, and to chant the Hare Krishna Mantra every day. I have thus decided, to continue this practice for my entire lifetime.”

Sri Madhu Pandit Dasa was deeply touched by the story of this simple man, and was awestruck at how Sri Sri Radha Krishnachandra have been bestowing Their compassionate blessings upon many thousands of visitors to the temple, many of whom are unknown to the devotees running the temple itself.
