The Gaura-gaṇoddeśa-dīpikā explains that this pleasure potency, formerly known as Vrindavaneshvari, appears in the pastimes of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu as Sri Gadadhara Pandita.

Sri Svarupa Damodara Goswami further clarifies that this same pleasure potency appeared previously as Lakshmi, beloved of the Lord as Shyamasundara-vallabha. That very Shyamasundara-vallabha is now present as Gadadhara Pandita in Lord Chaitanya’s pastimes. Even earlier, as Lalita-sakhi, she was constantly devoted to Srimati Radharani.
