JAGANNATH’S RATHA YATRA<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Lord Jagannath’s Ratha Yatra
\nrenowned Worldwide,
\nWith lakhs of people watching
\nthe spectacle Wide eyed;<\/p>\n

The Lordships bless,
\ndescending from the Temple,
\nAnd Their unique forms
\nbeing so Transcendental ;<\/p>\n

The Ratha adorned with
\na red cloth of Mirrors,
\nDazzling in sunlight,
\nand in all Glitters;<\/p>\n

The Deities inside, painted
\nIn myriad Colours,
\nAdorable and Beaming,
\nadding a Divine Lustre;<\/p>\n

The Chariots of wonder
\nStart rolling on the Streets,
\nSwaying and Staggering
\nPulled by HIS Devotees;<\/p>\n

They want HIM to go back to
\nVrindavan, so says the Legend,
\nTheir love and bonding
\nfor many lives Extend;<\/p>\n

The religious fete
\nis celebrated from Ages,
\nGraced and Witnessed
\nBy Heavenly Gods and Sages;<\/p>\n

The Master of the Universe
\nbrings everything to a Standstill,
\nAnd the Ratha moves
\nonly by His Supreme Will;<\/p>\n

The Lord and His devotees
\nshare a bonding of Oneness,
\nSignifying His unlimited
\nMercy and Kindness;<\/p>\n

This religious festival
\nThat is Ages-old,
\nIs truly a sight
