Tulasi-devi is an expansion of Vrinda-devi in this world. Every morning we pray to Vrinda-devi.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/w.soundcloud.com\/player\/?url=https%3A\/\/api.soundcloud.com\/tracks\/261926396&amp;auto_play=false&amp;hide_related=false&amp;show_comments=true&amp;show_user=true&amp;show_reposts=false&amp;visual=true\" width=\"100%\" height=\"150\" frameborder=\"no\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tulasi-devi is a pure devotee of Krishna and she should be treated with the same respect given to all Krishna\u2019s pure devotees. Simply by worshiping her faithfully, a devotee can get himself free from all material miseries.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Sri Tulasi Pranama<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the morning, after mangala-arati (and preferably also in the evening, before sandhya-arati), all the assembled devotees should attend tulasi worship and circumambulate Srimati Tulasi-devi. First we offer obeisances to Tulasi-devi with the tulasi-pranama-mantra, chanted three times:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>(om) vrindayai tulasi-devyai priyayai keshavasya ca&nbsp;<\/em><br \/>\n<em>vishnu-bhakti-prade devi satyavatyai namo namah<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I offer my repeated obeisances unto Vrinda, Srimati Tulasi-devi, who is very dear to Lord Keshava. O goddess, you bestow&nbsp;devotional service to Krishna and you possess the highest truth.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sri Tulasi Kirtana<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Text 1<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>namo namaha tulasi krishna-preyasi namo namaha<\/em><br \/>\n<em>radha-krishna-seva pabo ei abhilashi<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">O Tulasi, beloved of Krishna, I bow before you again and again. My desire is to obtain the service of Sri Sri Radha and Krishna.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Text 2<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>ye tomara sharana loy, tara vancha purna hoy<\/em><br \/>\n<em>kripa kori koro tare vrindavana-vasi<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Whoever takes shelter of you has his wishes fulfilled. Bestowing your mercy on him, you make him a resident of Vrindavana.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Text 3<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>mora ei abhilasha, vilasa kunje dio vasa<\/em><br \/>\n<em>nayana heribo sada yugala-rupa-rashi<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">My desire is that you will also give me a residence in the pleasure groves of Sri Vrindavana-dhama. Thus within my vision I will always behold the beautiful pastimes of Radha and Krishna.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Text 4<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>ei nivedana dhara, sakhir anugata koro<\/em><br \/>\n<em>seva-adhikara diye koro nija dasi<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I beg you to make me a follower of the cowherd damsels of Vraja. Please give me the privilege of devotional service and make me your own maidservant.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Text 5<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>dina krishna-dase koy, ei jena mora hoy<\/em><br \/>\n<em>sri-radha-govinda-preme sada yena bhasi<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This very fallen and lowly servant of Krishna prays, \u201cMay I always swim in the love of Sri Sri Radha and Govinda.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sri Tulasi Pradakshina Mantra<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">When the song is finished, the assembled Vaishnavas should circumambulate Tulasi-devi at least four times and offer her water by pouring some drops at her root (only during morning worship, not in the evening). While circumambulating, we chant,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>yani kani cha papani brahma-hatyadikani ca<\/em><br \/>\n<em>tani tani pranashyanti pradakshinah pade pade<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">When a person circumambulates Srimati Tulasi-devi, all the sins he may have committed are destroyed at every step, even the sin of killing a brahmana.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Learn how to offer Tulasi Puja to Tulasi-devi.
