In the revealed scriptures, the ultimate object of knowledge is Sri Krishna,
the Personality of Godhead. The purpose of performing sacrifice
is to please Him. Yoga is for realizing Him. All fruitive
activities are ultimately rewarded by Him only.
He is supreme knowledge, and all severe
austerities are performed to know
Him. Religion (dharma) is
rendering loving service
unto Him. He is the
supreme goal of life.

Srimad Bhagavatam, 1.2.28-29
Because a devotee of Lord Krishna is desireless, he is peaceful.
Fruitive workers desire material enjoyment, jnanis desire
liberation and yogis desire material opulence; therefore
they are all lusty and cannot be peaceful.

Lord Chaitanya to Rupa Goswami,
Chaitanya Charitamrita Madhya19.149
The material miseries of the living entity, which are superfluous to him,
can be mitigated by the linking process of devotional service. But the
mass of people do not know this, and therefore the learned
Vyasadeva compiled this Vedic literature (Srimad Bhagavatam),
which is in relation to the Supreme Truth.

Suta Goswami instructs the sages of Naimisharanya,
Srimad Bhagavatam, 1.7.6
Religion without philosophy is sentiment, or sometimes fanaticism, while
philosophy without religion is mental speculation.

—His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada
Bhagavad-gita As It Is 3.3, Purport
If a devotee follows the instructions of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu,
he lives in the company of the Lord. Wherever he lives,
he converts that place into Vrindavana and Navadvipa.
This means that materialism cannot touch him.
This is the secret of success for one advancing
in Krishna consciousness.

- His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada
Sri Chaitanya-charitamrta, Madhya-lila 7.129, purport
Only an empowered personality can distribute the holy name of the Lord and
enjoin all fallen souls to worship Krishna. By distributing the holy name of
the Lord, he cleanses the hearts of the most fallen people; therefore he
extinguishes the blazing fire of the material world. Not only that, he
broadcasts the shining brightness of Krishna's effulgence throughout
the world. Such an acharya, or spiritual master, should be
considered nondifferent from Krishna—that is, he should be
considered the incarnation of Lord Krishna's potency.

Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura
Quoted in Sri Chaitanya-charitamrta, Madhya-lila 25.9, purport
Essential truth spoken concisely is true eloquence.
Srila Krishnadasa Kaviraja Goswami

Sri Chaitanya-charitamrta, Adi-lila 1.106
After many births and deaths, he who is actually in knowledge surrenders
unto Me, knowing Me to be the cause of all causes and all that is.
Such a great soul is very rare.

Lord Sri Krishna
Bhagavad-gita 7.19
Under no circumstances can the words of persons bewildered
by the illusory energy of the Lord deviate the intelligence
of those who are completely surrendered souls.

Sri Uddhava
Srimad-Bhagavatam 3.2.10
One who has no compassion for humanity in its suffering and does not sacrifice
his impermanent body for the higher causes of religious principles or
eternal glory is certainly pitied even by the immovable beings.

Sri Dadhici Rsi
Srimad-Bhagavatam 6.10.8
Men who are like dogs, hogs, camels, and asses praise those men who never listen
to the transcendental pastimes of Lord Sri Krishna, the deliverer from evils.

Sri Saunaka Rsi
Srimad-Bhagavatam 2.3.19
