MML donates Rs 70 lakh for Akshaya Patra |

The Mysore Minerals Limited (MML), a State government undertaking, on Thursday donated Rs 70 lakh to the Akshaya Patra Foundation for the
mid-day meal scheme.
Chief Minister H D Kumaaraswamy handed over the cheque to Mr Madhu Pandit Das of the Foundation at a simple function held in Bangalore.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Kumaaraswamy said that increasing literacy rate in the village of backward region will be a priority of the government.
MML’s donation for the mid-day meal scheme is a part of its Social Responsibility initiative, said a press release. |
