Iskcon Rath Yatra
Rath Yatra of Lord Krishna and Balaram, the presiding deities of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness — Iskcon Temple will be held on January 13 at 5 pm. A colourfully decorated chariot carrying the idols of Krishna and Balaram, adorned in special alankara, will be drawn by hundreds of devotees through a four-km stretch from the temple premises at Hare Krishna Hill, Rajajinagar through Dr Rajkumar Road. Rendition of bhajans and kirtanas will add to the festive atmosphere. The yatra concludes at the temple at 9.30 pm, states a release.
