| Rules for contest codes 45 & 46: |

Students will be provided with songs composed by the Dasas of Karnataka (like Sri Purandara Dasa, Sri Kanaka Dasa, Sri Vadirajaru etc.). Students should choose any one of these songs. As soon as a student has selected a certain song, that song will no longer be available for others.

Students should select a song of their choice and note the code number from the list of the songs, and call ISKCON culture department on 23471956 or 23578346 and have it reserved. Then communicate the same to the Heritage Fest coordinator to collect the ID card from the temple.

Students should submit the lyrics of the song selected along with a half page summary of the song in simple English or Kannada during the contest. The judges has the discretion to ask any question related to the song. |

No accompanying instruments are allowed. (except shruthi box).Alaap & swarprasthana can be included |
| 5. |
A maximum of three minutes will be given for the qualifying round and five minutes for the final round. |
| 6. |
Only five entries per school.
A total of 100 entries will be accepted. |
