| Rules for contest codes 14 & 15: |

Only individual participants are allowed. |
| 2. |
The essay should not exceed 250 words for middle school
(5-7 std) and 350 words for high school students (8-10 std) |
| 3. |
Duration of the contest is one hour. |
| 4. |
Students will be judged on the basis of content, style and language.the essay should have proper introduction, right arrangement of paragraphs & an apt conclusion. |
| 5. |
Separate prizes will be awarded for English and Kannada essays. |
| 6. |
Students should bring a pen and exam-pad. Papers will be provided. |
| 7. |
Students should assemble at the venue before
9:00 a.m. Late comers will not be allowed to participate. |
| 8. |
Only ten entries per school. |
