| Rules common to contest codes 12 & 13: |

Only individual participants are allowed. |
| 2. |
Students will be provided with a passage from any vedic text in English or Kannada. Students should choose one of these passages and memorize it for the contest. |
| 3. |
Students will be tested for their skills in public speaking, delivery, expression, fluency and body language. |
| 4. |
Students will be given three minutes on stage to deliver the passage. |
| 5. |
Separate prizes will be awarded for Kannada & English contests. |
