| Rules for contest code 09: |
| 1. |
Students in a team of 5 to 25 can participate. (Group entries only) |
| 2. |
The students should select a story from any vedic text. The final communication of the theme of the play should be specific. |
| 3. |
Importance should be given to direction, dialogue delivery, intonation & coordination. |
| 4. |
Live or recorded music can be used. Students should provide the cassette or CD with the music for their drama at the time of registration. A tape recorder or CD player will be provided to play the same. |
| 5. |
Students should submit the script of the drama for approval on or before July 1, 2008 to the ISKCON representative. |
| 6. |
The approval of drama script will be communicated to the schools by July 10, 2008. |
| 7 |
Lights, special effects and music playback systems will be provided. Participants can visit the venue in advance to see the stage and other facilities provided for the contest. (Students can rehearse on stage with prior permission) |
| 8. |
Costumes, props, backdrops and make-up will be the student's responsibility. |
| 9. |
A maximum of 30 minutes for each drama. |
