Students : From 7th to 10th standard
Time : 8.30 am to 12 noon

Rules for contest code 07:
1. Students in a team of two to four can participate.
(Group entries only).
2. Students should prepare one vegetarian dish without onion and garlic and bring it to the ISKCON Temple. Please note that eggs are not considered to be vegetarian.
3. As your preparation will be offered to Lord Krishna, it should not be tasted - even to check for sugar or salt.
4. Utensils used for cooking should either be new or in the case of used ones, they should first be thoroughly washed with cow dung or cow urine as a purificatory process.
5. Students may prepare - (a) Sweet (b) Fried item (c) Baked-cake or pastries (d) Fresh fruits / vegetables preparation (e) Sabji, rotis or rice items (f) Steamed / boiled items.
6. The name of the preparation and the recipe must accompany the preparation. The name, class and school of participants should be mentioned on the recipe.
7. In addition to the taste, nutritional value & ingredients used, special preference will be given to those preparations that have been presented in an attractive manner.
8. Preparations must be topped with tulasi leaves, since Lord Krishna accepts an offering only when tulasi is added.
9. Only 10 entries per school. (Two items from each category and a maximum of four items in each category.)
