Program Description:

Peace and truth can be given a chance by letting children learn their meaning. This is the aim of the 'Gita Fest' organised every year. The fest is held exclusively for school children from Kindergarten to Class 10. The cultural event, based on the theme of the Bhagavad-gita, seeks to stimulate appreciation and understanding of India's rich and vast cultural diversity amongst the children. They get an opportunity to participate in events revolving around the ancient text – Bhagavad-gita. A number of colorful events like Gita Shloka Chanting, Singing, Elocution, Summary, Essay, Coloring, Gita Painting, Poster Collage, Gita Memory and Gita Quiz are conducted. 'Gita Fest Rolling Trophy' is awarded to the overall winners.

  • An exclusive Bhagavad-gita based competition in over 10 areas
  • There is no entry fee for any of the contests
  • All contestants are awarded a participation certificate

  • Accomplished personalities in the study of Bhagavad-gita are invited to judge the performances of the contestants
