Today
that is, the 28th of May, 2002,
I paid a visit to ISKCON temple
at Bangalore and saw the entire
complex. Also I was given an
opportunity to see the slide
projection on the midday meal
program taken up by the management
of ISKCON, Bangalore.
To comment on this program it's
not necessary to write many
words of praise except saying
a wonderful achievement. I am
extremely happy to know the
program and have learnt quite
a good lesson from what I have
seen today. May God bless the
organization to continue such
noble works.

is meant to transform individuals
to the ideals of living. However
higher ideals cannot be achieved
when the stomachs go regularly
hungry. Yet millions of our
children go to school undernourished,
thereby dreams of realizing
their true potential is getting
shattered. ISKCON, Bangalore,
is doing yeoman service in this
regard. Many underprivileged
school children are fed one
nutritious meal a day in their
Akshaya Patra Scheme. The studies
have already shown that it is
doing wonders to the children's
learning capabilities. ISKCON,
Bangalore, has taken a right
step in helping children to
become higher beings. ISKCON,
Bangalore, deserves all appreciation
and encouragement.
